Colin Kaepernick isn't the only current NFL player receiving death threats for trying to bring about social change, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin says he's also gotten some since speaking out about the issue. "I had a few," Baldwin told60 Minutes Sports. "A couple people told me to watch my back."

After seeing Kaepernick's national anthem protest and hearing the reasoning behind his actions, Baldwin reached out to the San Francisco 49ers quarterback and developed what he calls an "informative" relationship.

While he supports Kaepernick's protest, Baldwin and his fellow Seahawks players decided to go in a different direction with the pregame ceremonies by linking their arms together as a "demonstration of unity." Late last month, Baldwin followed the lead of teammate Richard Sherman, and used his weekly press conference to address the need for all 50 states to review their police training policies

"Right now, I'm really focused on the training for law enforcement," Baldwin told 60 Minutes Sports. "I think that's where we can have the most impact, directly and as soon as possible." As for the death threats he's received since delivering his message, the 28-year-old wideout doesn't seem to be too concerned about them. In fact, Baldwin believes that any harm done to him would only validate his argument, saying, "If something were to happen to me, I think that would just further prove the point that there are issues in our culture and in our society that need to be changed."
