Canadian superstar, Milos Raonic, is moving on to compete in the China Open semifinal. After defeating Spain's Pablo Carreno Busta, the Thornhill native will now play the tough, Grigor Dimitrov. The Bulgarian is currently ranked 20th in the world, and just upset second-seeded Rafael Nadal in the tournament. Raonic and Dimitrov will square off in their semis match tomorrow morning. The winner will need to pass either David Ferrer, or Wimbledon champ, Andy Murray, in order to take home the grand prize.

Raonic had to play two deciding games today. In the early hours of the morning, the Canadian beat Malek Jaziri. The pair had a rain delay yesterday, which postponed the game until today's continuation. The Missle beat Jaziri in under an hour, playing his sets 6-3, 6-4. He then went on to conquer Busta in two sets, both 6-4, to advance to the semis.

While Milos' victories cannot be understated, Grigor Dimitrov made history to get to the next round. His conclusion over rival Nadal, was his first victory against the Spaniard. In two sets, the Bulgarian forced Nadal out of competition. Former superstar, Rafael Nadal, is currently in the midst of a season without a championship. This would be his second consecutive tour without one.
