On Sunday, Tennessee Volunteers sophomore defensive lineman Jonathan Kongbo posted a picture of a pair of cleats hanging with the caption, "All things must come to an end."
Many people assumed that Kongbo was taking a page out of Marshawn Lynch's book to announce his retirement from the game of football.
However, on Monday, Volunteers head coach Butch Jones revealed that Kongbo's tweet actually had nothing to do with retiring or the game of football.
A quick Google search of "soccer cleats hanging" will send you here, proving that he was really probably referencing his FIFA loss in the tweet. But while we're on the topic of Twitter, maybe Kongbo should check his replies once and a while. A brief reply to one of the many inquiries would've saved a whole lot of Vols fans a whole lot of grief.
