Paul George got slapped with a $15,000 fine for kicking the game ball and accidentally having it smack a fan in her face on Saturday night against the Bulls.

As George guarded Jimmy Butler on a drive to the hoop late in the third quarter, the ref blew the whistle to call a foul and George reacted by kicking the ball into the stands. George and Pacers coach Nate McMillan acknowledged the player's knee-jerk reaction (in the truest sense of the phrase). You can see how it all went down in the clip above.

PG apologized to the female Pacers diehard (who was wearing one of the team's throwback Hoosiers t-shirts) with a hug.

It's a good thing George apologized. The league certainly doesn't want any more of these types of chaotic moments between fans and players to happen again, especially with the Pacers' name attached to them.
