Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard never forgets where he came from. It's part of the reason why he wears the No. 0. The number serves as the letter "O," which is a constant reminder of his hometown of Oakland. On his day off yesterday, Lillard went back to his old stomping grounds of Oakland High School to have his jersey retired.

And shout out to Oakland High for retiring my jersey yesterday. Y'all helped mold me into the man that I am today. #ALLRISE pic.twitter.com/OEk6paTUwp

But, in true Dame fashion, the two-time NBA All-Star gave back to the place that "helped mold me into the man that I am today" by upgrading their gym and weight room.

Lillard also had a music studio built for the students.

And as if that weren't enough, Dame treated the students to a concert with Fetty Wap, DJ Esco, and Lil Uzi Vert

If you weren't a Lillard fan already, how can you not be one now?
