LeBron James kept his word. About a month ago, LeBron and his former teammate Dwyane Wademade a bet on the outcome of the 2016 World Series. The bet said that if the Cubs won, LeBron would have to wear a full Cubs uniform to a Cavaliers/Bulls game in Chicago, and if the Indians won, Wade would have to wear a full Indians uniform to a Bulls/Cavaliers game in Cleveland.

As you hopefully know by now, the Cubs rebounded from a 3-1 deficit in the World Series to win their first title in 108 years, and true to his word, LeBron showed up at the United Center in Chicago on Friday night dressed head to toe in Cubs gear. He did so just hours after Wade gave us a preview of what he thought LeBron would look like in his Cubs uniform by posting this claymation video on social media:

LeBron had promised that he would, in fact, honor his bet with Wade by wearing a Cubs uniform as recently as Thursday night, though he explained that he would not be wearing cleats with it. That, he said, would be too much. "No, I’m not wearing cleats," LeBron said. "I got a basketball game to play. No glove. Just the uniform. I will be in uniform."

The moment has FINALLY arrived! @KingJames rocking the @Cubs gear to honor his World Series bet payoff to @DwyaneWade. đŸ» pic.twitter.com/9WCgGAILt2
