Odell Beckham Jr. is at the Pro Bowl Returning Punts From Marquette King in a Sumo Suit

Giants reciever Odell Beckham Jr. is running around in a sumo suit at the Pro Bowl, trying to return punts from Marquette King.

After electrifying the league with one-handed catches and eye-popping numbers over his first two seasons, Odell Beckham Jr. came under a little more fire in his third professional season. OBJ still turned in some standout performances and remains an exceptional talent, but football often became a sideshow to some of his antics. He got into a war and subsequently made up with a kicking net, compared a referee to Stevie Wonder, and had an infamous yacht party prior to his team's playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Beckham lives his life loudly and unapologetically, and that's what draws fans out of both hate and love. He's down in Orlando for the Pro Bowl this weekend, and the positive side of that is on full display. Up top, you can see him fooling around during some down time, waddling down the field in a sumo suit as he tries to return a punt from Oakland's Marquette King. This puts a new spin on the fat guy touchdown run fans know and love.

After a tumultuous season, it's nice to see Beckham Jr. get back to what he does best—putting on a show for fans and having a whole lot of fun doing it. He's been enjoying himself in the relaxed atmosphere, partaking in a bit of crossbar dunking the league wouldn't approve of in a real game:

And though he was in the headlines the last couple years for his public feud with Washington cornerback Josh Norman, Beckham has no problem showing some playful love for his peers. After Dolphins wideout Jarvis Landry narrowly edged him out in the hands competition, Beckham greeted Landry with a celebratory tackle:

Beckham is one of the most talented receivers in the league, and he just needs to learn to strike a balance between playing (and living) with a competitive edge and losing his cool. If he can lean in toward his playful side more, perhaps he can find the sweet spot that will power him to future success.
