Don't look now, but the Philadelphia 76ers are starting to look less and less like the laughingstock of the NBA. After finishing the 2015-16 campaign with an 18-64 record, the 76ers already have 15 wins this season, and have a 7-3 record this year alone. With more and more wins getting tacked onto the Sixers' record, it presents their loyal fans with an opportunity to join in on the #RaiseTheCat trend on Twitter.

Started by fan @GipperGrove last year, 76ers fans are expected to celebrate their team's victory by lifting their cat in the air. At first, there were some kinks that needed to be worked out.

Soon enough, the trend really started picking up steam once rookie Ben Simmons got involved.

With each win, more people started to #RaiseTheCat. Sometimes, it was more than one cat.

Even people with dogs were experiencing some serious FOMO and got into the act.
