On Wednesday, Tate attempted to clear the air regarding his hat of choice, and his feelings towards Trump. 

Is this a joke? We 100% did not wear MAGA hats our wedding weekend in Mexico for our wedding. And I 100000000000% don't support trump.

This past weekend Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate got married. And while he's shared a photo from the special day on Instagram, a different photo of the NFL vet sporting a Make America Great Again hat, along with some lesser critiqued shorts, is causing an uproar on social media.
