LeBron James’ hair has been a big topic of discussion throughout the course of his career. NBA fans have needled himrelentlessly at times—about how he’s going bald. J.R. Smith has joked about how a full head of hair is the one thing God didn’t bless LeBron with. And entire histories of LeBron’s fading hairline have been published online.

Despite this, LeBron himself hasn’t addressed his hair much over the years. But after he passed Michael Jordan on the list of most playoff points scored in NBA history on Thursday night, he actually brought his hair up during his post-game press conference. LeBron talked about how he started modeling his game after MJ at a young age. From the fadeaway jumpers he took to the short shorts he wore, LeBron wanted to look and play just like MJ. But, he joked, the one thing he didn’t do was go bald like MJ. At least, not yet.

"I did pretty much everything that MJ did when I was a kid," LeBron said. "I shot fadeaways before I should have. I wore a leg sleeve on my leg and folded it down so you saw the red part. I wore black and red shoes with white socks. I wore short shorts so you could see my undershorts underneath. I didn’t go bald like Mike, but I’m getting there."

The fact that LeBron brought up his hair without being asked was, in and of itself, pretty amazing. But what made the moment even more memorable was Tristan Thompson’s reaction to what LeBron said. He was like:

There have been a bunch of memorable post-game press conference moments during the 2017 NBA Playoffs, but this might just be the best of the bunch. People appreciated it as much as we did and sent out tweets like these after it happened:

You can check out the moment in the clip above. LeBron has certainly kept reporters on their toes during his post-game pressers this postseason, hasn’t he?
