Lil B has previously assigned and retracted curses on Kevin Durant and D’Angelo Russell, but the original NBA curse for which he is most well-known—his jinx on Rockets guard James Harden—has remained relatively constant. The curse originated when Lil B said James Harden stole his “cooking” dance and then didn’t pay him proper respect.

Last month, Lil B spoke to ESPN’s The Undefeated and confirmed Harden—and only Harden—was still cursed. The Based God said the curse would affect Harden’s MVP chances (we’ll find out June 26), but he made it clear a few weeks ago he was open to ending the curse.

I apologize to James harden I'm ready to talk and end the curse... it's time to talk and be the leader everyone believes you are - Lil B

During an appearance on First Take Sunday, Lil B expressed a change of heart. Dressed in his Sunday best and looking ready for a LinkedIn headshot, Lil B said he has decided to lift the curse from Harden.

For what it's worth, Lil B just lifted the "Based God Curse" off of James Harden on First Take.

Host Molly Qerim requested that Lil B would "bless" Harden. "I think, for you, James Harden's curse is lifted," Lil B responded.

Lil B also reiterated that Kevin Durant’s curse has been lifted. He even shared an embrace with Kevin Durant’s mom, Wanda, AKA The Real MVP.

Lil B said Wanda and her son are both legends.

Respect to mom ! She is a legend and so is Kevin Durant !! - Lil B

Lil B has made it clear for nearly a year that Durant is curse-free, as KD’s decision to join the Golden State Warriors—Lil B’s favorite team—made the Based God change his mind.

Game 2 between the Warriors and Cavs in Oakland will tip at 8 p.m. EST.
