While we await the aftermath of tonight’s NHL expansion draft and post-season awards show in Las Vegas, we have some confirmed and exciting hockey news to sit with. Before you bother to ask, we can’t confirm or deny any sort of trade, so don’t activate any Twitter fingers. What we can do, however, is deliver a closer look at the brand new 2017-2018 uniforms for every one of the league’s 31 teams.

The league has finally revealed its complete jersey redesign courtesy of Adidas, and things are looking fresh. The German athletic company was handed responsibility for the rebrand, after taking over the rights from sister company Reebok - the latter of which was the official manufacturer for the last decade.

For every sports fan, team uniforms are every bit as important as the players who wear them. Luckily, the world of hockey is blessed with some amazing sweaters. Sure there may be the odd dud, including some infamous fast food-inspired examples, but the NHL is home to some iconic threads. Thankfully, teams are making sure to honour their respective legacies and have only modified aesthetics slightly. Perhaps the biggest and most intriguing reveal, is that of the Vegas Golden Knights. The NHL’s newest squad unveiled their debut uniforms and managed to make their grey colourway look pretty slick.

As for the actual build of these new jerseys, Adidas says that they are lighter, cooler, and stronger than previous editions. This is thanks to some new fandangled technology and some apparel innovation. Follow us after the jump to get a look at every new Adidas uniform.v
