The Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor press tour stopped in Toronto on Wednesday night. And, of course, the 6 God himself made an appearance.

During the live broadcast, Drake took the stage to publicly welcome Mayweather and McGregor to the city of Toronto. He told the crowd at the Budweiser Stage he was there for the same reason many of them were: to witness history.

“Listen, I’m going to be honest: I came here today to witness history with each and every one of you. The biggest fight in the history of fighting, and, of course, they had to come to the greatest city in the world to do a press conference,” Drake said. “So, whether it is Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather or whether it is the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor, I just want to welcome these two fighters to Toronto, a place that we live till the day that we are all gone. My name is Drake. I love each and every one of you. Let’s get into this shit.”

You can check out Drake’s speech in the video above.

Shortly before taking the stage, the 30-year-old rapper paid a visit to McGregor in his holding room. The two were filmed hugging one another, smiling ear to ear.

The Mayweather-McGregor press tour will head to Brooklyn this Thursday. The highly anticipated fight will go down Aug. 26 at the Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena.
