As NBA free agency began at 12:01 a.m. July 1st, Golden State Warriors swingman was rumored to be on the move after four seasons in the Bay Area. One of his potential destinations may be with one of the teams the Warriors mowed down during their 16-1 postseason run this year.

“The Spurs feel as if they have a legitimate shot at luring the Golden State Warriors' prized sixth man away from the San Francisco Bay Area, sources said,” wrote ESPN’s Chris Haynes. “Iguodala is open to relocating under the right parameters, according to sources.”

Iguodala is also reportedly taking a meeting with the Houston Rockets, who made their own splash into free agency by completing a trade for Chris Paul.

Perhaps the most notable thing about Haynes’ report is who Iguodala is not meeting with.

“Iguodala doesn't yet have plans to meet with the Warriors, sources said earlier,” Haynes added.

Iguodala has been with the Warriors since the franchise traded for him in 2013. He was a key reserve off the Warriors’ bench under coach Steve Kerr and won the 2015 Finals MVP award. During the series he became the first player in NBA history to score at least 25 points in a deciding game of the Finals without having recorded any 25-point games during the same regular season, or in any playoff games.

Having inked two-time regular season MVP Stephen Curry to a historic $201 million contract, Golden State is rumored to pursue former Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay if Iguodala leaves in free agency.

Andre Iguodala has career averages of 13.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game.
