If you're in L.A. this summer, stop by the Jack Rutberg Fine Arts Gallery for George Condo's latest exhibit since his showing at the New Museum in NY. The avant garde artist, whose work can be seen on the cover of Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, presents a collection of etchings, featuring works that stray from his previous works in form, but remain equally controversial in content. In true Condo fashion, these works feature ample amounts of nudity, fondling and sexually explicit acts. Condo describes his work as "Articificial Realism," and approaches topics like sexuality with an irreverant approach, while keeping in mind the skills of previous masters.
