J. Crew recently opened a new suit shop, The Ludlow Shop, in New York's TriBeCa. Dedicated to their slim-fitting suit silhouette, the interior design is a mixture of laid-back elegance, classic masculinity, and an old-world tailor shop feel. In addition to the racks of jackets and sportcoats made from fabrics like chino, wool, cashmere, and oxford, there are fine, handmade boots and shoes from the likes of Alden and Crockett & Jones.

Customers can peruse vintage cufflinks and exclusive timepieces from Mougin & Piquard. Dapper gentlemen will be pleased to find exclusive accessories from Drake's, and guys looking for unique decor for their home will be pleasantly surprised by the vintage tailoring equipment that's for sale. Decidedly more dressed-up than the J. Crew Liquor Store down the street, the new store will have a more "wear-to-work" vibe, while the Liquor Store will carry everything a guy need when he's not at the 9-5.

J. Crew's ability to establish unique identities for each of their Men's Shops is something we highlighted in this video, and their latest venture is par for the course. If you find yourself in need of a well-fitting suit, perhaps this is the space you should check out.
