Brooklyn-based photographer Ina Jang forced herself to like all aspects of her photography – the people, the locations, etc – and so she started editing out the elements that didn’t make the grade and replacing them with paper.  Jang says she started doing this because she “liked the idea of using optical illusion and the two-dimensional quality of photography.” By using both analog and digital manipulation she was able to explore both approaches to photography. If you happen to be in Zurich March 29 through June 2 you can check out her work at the Christophe Guye Galerie. [Time]
