British industrial design maverick, Tom Dixon, sat down with young designers, Lee Broom, La Chance, and Noé Duchaufour Lawrance, to discuss the relationship between nationality and creativity at the world's largest furniture fair, the Salone del Mobile. The interview was done in front of an immense submarine designed by Carlo Lavagna and Roberto De Paolis.
In the words of Dixon, “There is already a huge shift in Salone from a conventional business-to-business furniture fair into a global marketing carnival...I felt it was time to take matters into my own hands.” [Nowness]
