Filmed in Copenhagen, Denmark and Tokyo, Japan, My Playground shows the connection between buildings and the human body. Parkour, or free running, is the conduit for conversation, with both athletes and architects offering their thoughts on how the sport provides new opportunity for expression. Brings to mind the fantastic Skateboarding, Space and the City: Architecture and the Body, a book by Iain Borden which explores the union of skateboarding and the built environment.

Directed by Kaspar Astrup Schroder, the documentary has been selected as part of the film program for RIBA 2012. Head to Arch Daily for more information.
