You may know Dave White from his coveted, hand-painted Jordans. Or, if you've got really good memory, his sneaker paintings. You may also be aware that he's got a penchant for Americana and a particular skill in dynamic brush stroke and engaging pop art.

White's newest paintings move away from commercial product and childhood nostalgia, focusing attention on threatened animal species. In Natural Selection, an exhibition opening in London on June 21, 2012, White depicts hummingbirds, Siberian tigers, and even elephants. All maintain his distinct style while encompassing the majesty of incredibly rare animals.

Natural Selection will run through July 7, 2012.
