The Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado Springs started on June 23rd, and so far has claimed the lives of two people and burned 246 homes. The Denver Post staff shot these aerial photographs on June 28th, showing the mass destruction of the area. While many were able to return to their homes yesterday, the fire is now known as the most destructive in Colorado history to date. [DenverPost / Gazette]
