San Francisco street artist Barry McGee is the focus of a mid-career retrospective being held at the University of California's Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. McGee recently reconstructed a series of his most successful works to be shown at the BAM/PFA's exhibition site. The showcase will feature a slew of the artist's most acclaimed street pieces, gallery paintings, screen prints and more. And, with a full sized bodega installation located in the middle of the exhibition, this current display is a triumphant reminder of the extraordinary influence Barry McGee has provided the contemporary art world so far. Hit the thumbs for a brief look inside the Barry McGee mid-career retrospective at the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive, on display through December 9. [HiFructose]
