Frank Gehry has never designed a new building in his hometown of Toronto. So, it stands to reason that when given the chance, he'd go hard. Teaming with art mogul David Mirvish, Gehry's unveiled plans for a full revitalization of Downtown Toronto. This will include an ambitious entertainment district consisting of three residential towers and a brand new art collection space hitting at 60,000 square-feet. In addition to the Gerhy designs, the area will preserve the Royal Alexandra theater.
