Vittorio Missoni, head of Italian fashion brand Missoni and son of the label's founders, was aboard a plane that has disappeared off the Venezuelan coast, according to a company spokeswoman. The plane was reported missing on Friday hours after taking off from Los Roques. It was expected to land at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Caracas but never it arrived.
There were five other passengers on board, including Missoni's wife Maurizia Castiglioni, two friends of the couple, and two crew members. The search for the plane resumed earlier today.
