The bio of Takashi Murakami's fairly new Instagram says, "I have not good photo tecniqe. Hopfly I will get some." We disagree about his self-perceived lack of photography talent on IG, especially since what he has chosen to share with us was previously so rare. Most people have never seen inside the studios of the artists they love, and certainly Murakami has become so famous that hardly any of his fans know where the magic happens. Thanks to his recent Instagrams, we get a glimpse into his studio, where we can only imagine he's hard at work on his upcoming feature film and solo opening at Galerie Perrotin in May.
