The 1960s was the most epic, tumultuous, and spirited decade for America in the 20th century. Amongst drugs, wars, and racial tension, the cool jazz movement at times went unnoticed. Artists such as Miles Davis, Art Pepper, Chet Baker, Thelonious Monk, and more all helped influence modern music and eventually make room for hip-hop.

Plectrum by Ben Sherman has looked at this stylish sub-genre as well as Mods and Rockers as inspiration for its spring/summer 2013 campaign. Mixing black-and-white and colored portraits, the portraits feature the styles of iconic jazzmen and their penchant for clean menswear and suiting. Plus, the collection also features sweet canvas selvedge pants. Take a look through the thumbs to feel the groove.
