Exchanging mixtapes and playlists has always been part of interaction through music. With Sharetapes, people can now load and share playlists saved on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, or 8-tracks. The cassette-shaped cards are NFC-enabled and each feature a unique QR code that can be read by any appropriate application. Playlists are encoded onto the "tapes" to be played on any smartphone or tablet device with NFC or QR code reading technology.
