Socks can be the total rebel statement to break up an otherwise conservative outfit. So, it comes as no surprise that The Black Keys' drummer, Patrick Carney, has chose to invest in sock company Richer Poorer. The rocker sees socks as something less rebel though. Carney told WWD, “I’d never invested in anything outside of stocks and real estate. Something as wholesome as socks sounded like a great idea to me." Sounds good to us. At least fans of fresh socks might have a better chance of purchasing Richer Poorer in the future, and you can't forget the brand's collaboration with Del Toro this past year. Hopefully the brand will see big things in the future, other than large feet.
