David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have put their estate, the Beckingham Palace (also known as The Rowneybury House), on the market for an undisclosed amount. However they are being picky about who gets the abode. They want to sell it to another wealthy family, not builders who may restructure the building and make smaller ones. There is also fear that real estate developers would cash in on the Beckham name.

They bought the house in 1999 for £2.5 million and made additions such as a snooker room, gymnasium, floodlit tennis courts, recording studio, helipad, and numerous swimming pools. All 22 acres of the Hertfordshire estate are made in classic Georgian architectural design, not uncommon in the United Kingdom.

They have decided to sell Beckingham Palace because their obligations have pulled them elsewhere. Victoria is busy with herBattersea business which is closer to the London home they currently reside at, a £20 million rented house in Kengsington. They may decide to find a permanent housing situation in Kengsington in the future.
