Haven Goes Where the Buffalo Roam for Spring/Summer Editorial

This is why you should actually go outside, not just look dipped in the city.

There's something about going into the middle of nowhere that eases stress and puts your life goals in perspective like no other. Plus, if you're looking to break in your favorite [insert well-made piece of clothing here], the wilderness will give it fades like no other. Haven is located up in Edmonton—a short distance from some serious outdoors. To shoot its latest editorial for spring/summer 2013, the shop left the bustling city and took a trip to Elk Island. They didn't hang out with any Elk, actually, but there were quite a few buffalo in attendance as they wore garments from Post Overalls, Maiden Noir, Junya Watanabe, Undercover, Head Porter, Neighborhood, and more.

The urban mountaineer look is way in this season, but what about the actual explorer? If you want to dress like the guy who actually climbs Mount McKinley, take cues from Haven's lookbook which layers washed vests with cotton jackets and paint-splattered chinos. And don't forget your camo. If you dig these looks, shop the styles here.
