The children's television market has lots of powerful competitors like Disney Channel and Nick Jr. Another channel called The Hub hopes to capture audiences with a very progressive new series called "SheZow" depicting a gender-bending heroine who fights bionic evil doers.

The series is about Guy, a 12-year-old boy who is like most 12-year-old boys. He enjoys video games and skateboarding, however when he find a magical ring he becomes a female superhero named SheZow. What's so amazing is that the series goes all the way: SheZow has a pink skirt, thigh-high boots, and of course a pink car. Also her catchphrase for changing genders is “You go, girl!”

The series is glorious.

The channel launched in 2010 and caters to children and tweens. It has had success with its series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and "Transformers," however their new series is guaranteed to make them stand out. The show, which you can preview below, has already been airing in Canada and Australia and now the show hopes to grab audiences in the U.S.

The Hub is going to get so many emails and letters but the channel is like IDGAF. The network’s chief executive, Margaret Loesch, said according to Salon, “When I first heard about the show, my reaction was ‘Are you out of your minds?’ Then I looked at it and I thought, ‘This is just funny'."
