Liu Bolin Performs "Gun Rack" At Eli Klein Fine Art in New York (Video)

A pre-show to his "Mask" exhibition.

The Invisible Man Liu Bolin recently opened an exhibition in New York City at the Eli Klein Fine Art gallery called "Mask", on display until July 21. Before the opening, Bolin performed a piece called Gun Rack, inspired by the differences in international weapons legislation. In 2012, a law was passed in Beijing that requires individuals to have identification when purchasing knives with blades longer than 15cm, while access to firearms in the United States is often too easy. DesignBoom was there for the performance and documented the painting process of Bolin's disappearance:
