We love Yayoi Kusama's obsession with dots, repeated in her installations. If you don't know her history, let us get you up to speed. Kusama saw hallucinations in the form of dots in her childhood and she has been replicating them throughout her works. Sadly she has been living in a mental hospital since 1974 (she stays by choice). Despite her illnesses, she does create fantastic works, like her exhibit in Norway.
