How do you think he did?

There are a lot of things that go into putting together a fashion show—models, makeup, stylists, clothes, music—all of which play an important role. Which is why designers like to pay attention to all the details. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of Kenzo recently presented their Spring/Summer 2014 collection in Paris with a little help from The Beastie Boys' Mike D. No, Mike D didn't walk the runway, but he did make an exclusive track for the brand's show.

Titled "Humberto vs The New Reactionaries", the track was inspired by the Californian scene. "Talking to Humberto, I wanted to honor what he was inspired by: American hardcore like Black Flag, Bad Brains, Circle Jerks but then I wanted to update it, or maybe couldn't help but to update it," Mike D said in this interview with Kenzo

This is the first time Kenzo and Mike D have worked together, but certainly not the only artist Leon and Lim have enlisted. In the past, M.I.A. and Jamie XX have made tracks exclusively for the label.
