Streetwear might have picked up an obsession with camouflage, but back in the ‘80s Andy Warhol had a thing for the military pattern. His obsession went as far as using the multi-pattern designs into his own self-portraits. In the fashion world, he collaborated with designer Stephen Sprouse by including his bright camo patterns into a collection of women’s apparel. Since then many have included his various works and image in their collection.

Today the late pop artist’s camouflage series sees another re-creation in a collaboration with New Era. There are seven hats to choose from using the disruptive patterns. All with colors designed to pop out instead of conceal the wearer, and come in either a snapback or fitted. Visit the New Era website to purchase the collection, and keep some heads turning.
