Though no official images have been released of the upcoming A.P.C. x Carhartt WIP collection for fall, A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou shared a little preview to give us something to talk about. Taking to Twitter, the designer shared an upcoming wristwatch to be added to the ongoing collaboration. The military style field watch comes in neutral gray with the only indication of color showing up in the form of a yellow second-hand.

The most interesting detail about this watch is the placement of the hours on the time piece's face. All the numbers are in the wrong place except for the number 12, so you might have a hard time telling what the exact hour and minutes are.

An inscription on the bottom look like it reads, “IF SIX WAS NINE,” a song written by Jimi Hendrix that appeared on the 1967 album Axis: Bold as Love. We have no idea if Touitou is a fan of Hendrix, but fucking up the number placement might be the designer's way of demonstrating the song's individualist lyric, "Go ahead on, Mr. Businessman, you can't dress like me."

We are already anticipating a slew of outerwear coming down the pipeline, but this new military style filed watch is something to look out for and fits perfect with A.P.C.’s minimalist philosophy.
