Like most legends, Lou Reed didn't get all of the respect he deserved in life, but the public response following his death has shown just how much of a force he was. Artist Jef Aerosol may be the first person to show his respects for Reed in the streets with this tribute mural featuring the musician's portrait (from his younger years) and the title of his hit song "Take A Walk On The Wild Side" with bananas replacing the letter "i." The text on the right side is too small to make out, but we imagine that it's the lyrics to the song or some other great tribute message from the artist. There have to be other Reed murals sprouting up around the world so if you spot any, share the knowledge.
