Using only a pencil, Netherlands-based freelance artist Ramon Bruin creates incredible 3D-drawings that practically leap off the paper. Bruin’s masterful command of contours and shading has allowed him to create 3D drawings that are practically optical illusions. In fact, they are so realistic and trippy that they earned him a feature in the 2014 edition of Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

Bruin is an entrepreneur and self-made man. He started his own company, JJK Airbrush, after graduating from the prestigious Airbrush Academie in Lelystad. Bruin works in many mediums, including airbrushes, oils, acrylics, watercolors and, of course, pencils.
