Detroit might be going through some tough times, but one of the brighter spots coming out of the city is watch and leather goods brand Shinola. The label definitely knows how to make a mean timepiece. This winter, however, it linked up Golden Bear to its first varsity jacket, and it is a goddamn keeper. It may not tell you the time, but it'll keep you toasty as fuck.

There are three different colors to choose from in the standard melton wool and Cowhide leather sleeves combo. And just like Shinola’s chronographs, the jackets are made right here in the USA. These pieces are superb, and arrive more buttery than a Christmas ham.

Keep an eye on these at Shionla Detroit, and the Shinola Flagship in Tribeca for $424.
