Innovative Portuguese street artist Alexandre Farto aka Vhils has just put up an epic cork-based new piece called Contraste. The artist is known for the intricacy of his work, usually creating detailed large-scale faces in concrete walls, and this new carving at Covilhã, a Portuguese data center, is true to form. Vhils’ new piece explores the nature man has with the world. He focuses in particular on man’s ability to create economically friendly and stable products that have the capacity to survive for generations beyond their creators.
