Stereotypes often unfairly paint Asians students as breathing calcuators—all work and no fun. But these recently discovered Korean high school photos prove otherwise. Images from Jeonju Haesung High School in South Korea recently surfaced, depicting students in hilarious and bizarre get-ups that induce uncontrollable laughter. Often school photos are a rigid affair, allowing students to express themselves only from the shoulders up. Some Korean high schools have loosened these standards, providing greater freedom for personal flair, which has resulted in much more memorable (and perhaps truthful) keepsakes.
