"Adventure Time" Teams With ROOK for an Animated Collaboration

An adventure in streetwear.

Adventure Time, Cartoon Network's little series that could, has been plastered all over stores and the web since it's meteoric rise in popularity a couple years ago. However, Cartoon Network felt that a little something was missing in the mechanising, and called up animation-inspired ROOK to collaborate on a capsule collection.

The collection consists of a all-over print tee, a printed bucket hat, and pullover sweater with a "realistic" take on Jake the Dog.

"When it came time to think about what else we could do in apparel that would be really awesome...finding something that had a streetwear kind of approach—Rook was almost the only consideration," said Vice President of Cartoon Network Enterprises, Rick Blanco.

Indeed, the collection combines the drawings of ROOK co-founder and creative director, Joe King, with the characters of Pendelton Ward's surreal animated adventure series. The culmination of the collection has to be the "Jake Fleece" pullover sweater, designed and drawn personally by King himself.

We suggest that you "grab your friends" and go to pick up this collection as soon as possible. Unlike  the kingdom of Ooo, these fire pieces aren't a fantasy.
