During SXSW this year, the artist duo UZi, known for their raw VHS videos of the hip-hop world and songs like "Scene Girl," descended on Austin and kept their cameras rolling. Made up of Gabe and Mike, UZi started their career filming rappers when acts rolled through their hometown in Ohio. That homegrown work evolved into the grainy aesthetic they use today.

"We shoot with old shitty cameras because it looks better. Simple as that," Gabe of UZi told Complex in a previous interview. "It brings them to a different world."

Last week, UZi hung out at The ILLMORE, an annual event put on byILLROOTS and Score More during SXSW, where they captured high energy performances by some of the top rappers in the game. Relying on their signature method of filming, the duo created art videos of people like Big Sean, A$AP Mob, Lil TwistLil B, and Skrillex.
