Parisian brand Berluti has been around since the 1920s, so it stand to reason that it knows a thing or two about good design. Its latest project, a collaboration with custom bicycle manufacturer Cycles Victoire, displays the brand's dedication to quality and exists as a homage to the brand's fascination and involvement with sport.

The bicycle is entirely handmade in France in the workshops of Cycles Victoire, a brand best known for its one-off made to measure cycles. The design of the bicycle is based on the delivery bikes used by deliverymen in the early years of the last century, but with modern features: a fillet-brazed frame, aluminium handlebar stem and handlebars, chainset and seat post, and wooden wheel rims.

Berluti has also designed special accessories to compliment the release of the bicycle. A bike frame bag, a handlebar bag and bike toe-clip straps will be released. There will also be a pair of v. luxe cycling shoes.

Both the bike and the accessories will be available in May as special orders from Berluti stores in Paris, New York City, London, and Tokyo.
