Gap is teaming up with art and fashion publication Visionaire to collaborate on some tees for its latest issue. But these aren’t just any regular T-shirts. With the addition of SOLAR ink, the tees will have a special color changing features that will blow your mind. When hit with direct sunlight the UV-sensitive ink will reveal colorful artwork to the otherwise black and white graphics.
Artists tapped to help out with this project include Alex Katz, Yoko Ono, Richard Phillips, Ugo Rondinone, Peter Lindbergh, François Berthoud, and Roe Ethridge. You can watch how the transformation works for yourself in the GIFs below. To get one of these wearable art pieces visit the GAP White Space or the Frieze Art Fair staring May 9.
