How does a small label retain the understated cool built on a platform of exclusivity and underexposure when partnering with the world's largest brands? Band of Outsiders has shown an aptitude for taking names and concepts that are arguably bigger than its own and folding them seamlessly into its image; just see the lookbooks featuring blockbustery names such as Josh Brolin and Michelle Williams.

Today, the hipsters of Caffeine Nation can celebrate because Starbucks has announced Band of Outsiders as the latest partner to design a limited collection of ceramic mugs, following in the footsteps of Rodarte, Jonathon Adler, and Alice & Olivia. Based on designer Scott Stemberg's favorite coffee slang—"drip"—the Band of Outsiders for Starbucks® Limited Edition Designer Ceramic Mugs will be available online at StarbucksStore on June 10, 2014 and in participating Starbucks retail locations in the U.S. and Canada on June 24, 2014 for about $15. From the looks of it, it seems Stemberg has managed to maintain the brand's ethos in this giant collab.

Best part? That "barista" will never again totally biff the spelling of your name on that generic paper cup.
