Artists continue to prove that the stuff your parents told you about not playing with your food should be forgotten. Sculptures, photo projects, and even hyperrealistic paintings that involve food are usually awesome, and these portraits by Bronx-based artist Sarah Rosado are no exception.

Rosado uses cornflakes to create spot-on portraits of legends of Hip-Hop, Rock, and R&B including Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Drake, Amy Winehouse, Elvis, and others. According to Today.com, the self-taught artist listens to the music of the musician she wants to depict so that she can "get in the zone." The series began while she was eating breakfast and listening to John Lennon and snowballed from there.
