If you found yourself near the Hudson River today and thought you saw a giant Rubik's cube, don't worry, you're not crazy. An inflatable sculpture of the popular multi-colored puzzle was posed next to the Statue of Liberty for the 70th birthday of its creator Ernő Rubik.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the project was organized by the Liberty Science Center where the "Beyond Rubik's Cube" art exhibition will be held to celebrate the cube's 40th anniversary. The show will feature interactive exhibits, speed cubers, a "haikube" for puzzle poetry, and a 2,300-pound Rubik's Cube that shows how the puzzles work.

It is unclear whether or not the inflatable will be on display at the exhibition, but there will be tons of other Rubik-related activities for visitors to enjoy. For more info, head to the Liberty Science Center website.
