Back in 2008, Canadian designer Shun Kinoshita launched a small clothing company as a passion project. Six years later, his streetwear brand MMVIII is still on its grind—maybe not as small, but definitely just as passionate.

Continuing its signature references to Japanese culture, the brand’s fall 2014 collection is inspired by the Sasayuri and Kiku, the favorite flowers of Kinoshita’s grandmother. The standout petal patterns and shocking neon colors are stabilized by understated graphics and basic fronts, making the range equal parts loud and clean.

Like previous MMVIII collections, there’s not a lot of fuss or overkill in this line. You have your streetwear staples like hoodies, tees, and sweatshirts. It’s well-rounded, straight-forward, and just straight-up dope.
