Melbourne-based artist TQ Lee often explores the themes of humor and ambiguity in his photography. His quirky imagery can only be described as fun, replete with vibrant colors, wild subject matter, and ironic mash-ups. His series “Inedible” is no exception, providing the viewer with shots of “meals” that should under no conditions be consumed. His efforts to make the “food” look real is certainly admirable, with some impostors looking so much like the real thing that you won’t believe what they’re actually made of. The doughnuts in Waxed Rolled Socks w/ Dirty Hot Shaving Cream are practically indistinguishable from legit pastries, but even when you realize what your'e looking at, you're still left with a major sugar craving.
